With only four more games scheduled (two if necessary), the NBA is nearing the end of the 2nd round of playoffs. Miami closed off the series against Brooklyn last night with a 96-94 win. And, San Antonio finished the 2nd round playoffs with a 104 to 82 victory over the Portland Trailer Blazers.
Tonight, Indiana hopes to silence the critics when they head to the Verizon Center to play the Washington Wizards and the red hot John Wall. And, OKC returns to Los Angeles to face the Clippers after a controversial win for the Thunder last Tuesday night.
If there are game 7s to be played, both will happen this Sunday, May 18. The Sunday games would give all four teams a full two days of rest before the series come to their conclusions. Both Indiana and Oklahoma City have a one game edge on their competitors.
The remaining NBA 2nd round playoffs will be broadcast on either ESPN, ABC, or TNT.
