Here’s something you don’t see everyday. For a limited time and while supplies last Seiki is providing a free U-VISION 4K HDMI Up-conversion Cable (#SU4KC1) for customers who purchased a Seiki 4k Ultra HD TV. The converter cable, which carries an MSRP of $49.99, up-converts Full HD video from a cable box or Blu-ray player to 4k to display on Seiki’s Ultra HD TVs. The up-converter is designed enhance image quality, restore edges and reduce noise, and improve on-screen text quality from 1080p content.
Seiki also sells an Up Converting Adapter (#SU4KB1) without cable for $59.99 MSRP. Both accessories support 720p and 1080p up-conversion to 4K video signals up to 30 Hz.
The Seiki U-VISION HDMI accessories are also certified by the Technicolor 4K Image Certification program.
Customers who purchased a Seiki 4k Ultra HD TV can visit Seiki’s product registration page to fill out a form. You’ll need basic shipping information as well as the product serial number, model number, date and location where purchased. Deadline to request the free adapter is April 30, 2014.
