DIRECTV CINEMA promotion offers $10 Movie Credit

DirecTV is offering $10 credit back to any customer who orders four or more films from DIRECTV CINEMA during the month of March. There are a couple catches though. According to the disclaimer “purchases via remote control will only be accessible on the TV and will not be accessible on any other device.” If we’re reading this correctly, it means if you want to watch the movie on a PC, tablet or phone you should order the film online. Furthermore, be careful to make sure the featured title is viewable in the format you want.

For example, Thor: The Dark World is available to watch on any device: TV, PC, Tablet, or Phone and is available online for 72 hours. 12 Years a Slave, on the other hand, is only available on TV during On Demand showtimes.

There is also an additional $5 charge if you ask for a customer service operator to help you order.

DIRECTV CINEMA titles are generally priced at $5.99 for HD quality and $4.99 for SD quality. The online rentals are usually available to watch within a 72-hour period, but this may vary according to film.

After ordering at least four titles, customers will receive a DIRECTV MOVIE MONEY certificate for $10 by mail to the address provided in your account. The additional catch is you have to fill out the certificate and give back to DirecTV by 6/30/14.

If you haven’t taken advantage of the promotion, there are still two more weeks left.
