Warner Bros’ releases ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ trailer starring Tom Cruise

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the upcoming action film Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The film, directed by Doug Liman, looks like another science fiction/love story similar to Cruises’ last film Oblivion. But in this one, at least what we can see from the trailer, Cruise (as Lt. Col. Bill Cage) sports an exosuit for most of the action and fighting scenes. Emily Blunt (Looper) stars as Rita Vrataski, another soldier caught in some type of time loop who finds Cruise and offers her help to win the war (of which not many details were given). The film was written by a small team, based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s fast reading novel “All You Need Is Kill.” The Warner Bros. film is slated for release in the US on June 6, 2014.
