Dark Shadows, Tim Burton’s big screen take on the classic 60s vampire soap opera, will arrive in a Blu-ray/DVD/Ulatrviolet combo pack on October 2 at a suggested list price of $35.99. This campy/creepy comedy stars Johhn Depp as Barnabas Collins, a vampire who, after being buried alive in the 1700s, is accidentally freed from his coffin in 1972. The film also co-stars Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, and Michelle Pfeiffer. On the specs front, of course there will be 1080p video and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, along with a hefty set of special features.
