New Roku LT to hit market at $50

By the far the cheapest streaming player to hit the market will be the $50 Roku LT expected early November. The device streams 720p HD video over built-in wireless and is compatible with services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, Pandora, EPIX, Crackle, and Disney. Roku also announced a partnership with HBO GO to offer over 1,400 titles such as Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood and The Sopranos. The HBO GO app will be available on all Roku players at the end of this month and access to content is free for HBO subscribers. Roku also sells the Roku 2 line, available in three models which include: Roku 2 HD ($59.99); Roku 2 XD ($79.99); and Roku 2 XS ($99.99).
