Monday Night football opens with doubleheader

Check out the latest NFL game schedule here.

Tonight will kick of this season’s Monday Night Football schedule, with a doubleheader broadcast by EPSN in high-definition (HD) nationwide. The New York Jets will get a chance to backup all their off-season talk (mainly from coach Rex Ryan) about going all the way this year. The Jets, who finished 9-7 last season, play the Baltimore Ravens at 7:00 PM Eastern Time on ESPN.

The second game of this Monday night doubleheader pits the San Diego Chargers against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs, who finished 4-12 in the AFC West last season, will have a lot to prove against the favored Chargers. That game starts at 10:15 PM Eastern Time also on EPSN.

ESPN HD can be found on DirecTV (Channel 206), Dish Network (Channel 140), Verizon FiOS (Channel 570) and AT&T U-verse (Channel 1602). For local cable TV providers, check your channel guide. HD channel locations may vary, so please be sure to check your listings.
