Cox to give N.Virginia customers ESPN360

Cox Communications says it will be giving access to ESPN360.com to its customers in Northern Virginia. The service will come at no extra charge to customers with high speed internet service.

ESPN360.com gives viewers over 3,500 live events online, including college football, NASCAR, and NBA. The network also provides international sports coverage, including the UEFA Champions League and the Australian Open. Last month, ESPN360 began screening matches from the Australian Football League.

ESPN360 access for Cox customers will start on Sept. 30.

“Making ESPN360.com available for free to our high-speed Internet customers is just one more way Cox is committed to providing the best value,” said Janet Barnard, senior VP and GM of Cox N. Virginia.
