Microsoft has filed a patent that should have Xbox users more than a little worried. Microsoft will allow the Kinect motion sensing device for Xbox 360 to potentially spy on users as they engage the device or use their Xbox when watching movies or even playing games.

Check out this video of YouTube user KinectFAAST who uses Kinect technology to control gestures in Skyrim on the PC. The program, called FAAST, is middleware that runs on the OpenNI framework. The OpenNI framework doesn't support voice so the guy uses VAC (Voice Activated Commands) software to convert spoken words to keystrokes via a RazorFish bluetooth headset.
