DirecTV offering free preview of HD Extra Pack

DirecTV is currently offering a free preview of their HD Extra Pack, a bundle of channels that usually costs $4.99 per month, and includes networks such as HDNet Movies, MGM HD, Palladia HD, and Sony Movie Channel HD. The networks can be found on channels 565-573 — all in high definition. The HD Extra Pack free preview started Oct. 26 and runs through Nov. 1.

• The Quiet Assassin and many other short films start October 27 on ShortsHD (Ch. 573)
• How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, October 28th at 9:50pm EST airs on MGM HD (Ch. 567)
• Over Her Dead Body starring Eva Longoria airs Thursday, 10/29 from 9-11pm ET on Universal HD (Ch. 569)
• Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation airs Thursday, 10/29 at 10pm EDT on Sony Movie Channel (Ch. 568)
• The Sixth Sense airs 10/31 at 10:15pm ET on HDNet Movies (Ch. 566)
• Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas premieres October 31 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (Ch. 565)
