Netflix has released an official trailer for their upcoming limited series “Maniac” starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. The trailer is currently #2 in YouTube’s trending list, with over 1-million views already since uploading.
In the dramatic/sci-fi series, two strangers connect during a mysterious pharmaceutical trial in which the two experience alternate realities. The show is based on the Norwegian television series of the same name created by Hakon Bast Mossige and Espen PA Lervaag,
Emma Stone plays the role of Annie Landsberg and Jonah Hill as Owen Milgrim – two patients who the pharmaceutical company can’t seem to separate. 2x Oscar-winner Sally Field and Golden Globe winner Gabriel Byrne also star in at least one episode of the series.
“Maniac” will premiere Friday, September 21st on Netflix with ten episodes to stream on demand.
