20th Century Fox’s Oscar-nominated feature Rio (2011) is only $4.99 today in Digital HD, a $10 savings off the regular price of $14.99.
The Digital HD (1080p) version of Rio is a 3.94GB download while the 720p version is a 3.53GB file that can be streamed or downloaded. A smaller, SD (480p) version for small screens like smartphones is only 1.62GB.
The animated film isn’t available in 4k/HDR, but might one assume if it ever gets re-released to 4k/HDR Apple would upgrade the digital copy as well.
Audio is provided in Dolby Digital 5.1 with closed captioning. The soundtrack is also available in French and Spanish, and subtitles are provided in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai.
