6x Oscar-winning film La La Land is headed for release on Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, and DVD. The disc editions will hit stores on Tuesday, April 25, following an early Digital HD release on April 11, 2017.
La La Land on Blu-ray is presented in 1080p (Blu-ray) and 2160p (Ultra HD Blu-ray) with English soundtracks playable in Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1. French and Spanish audio is available in Dolby Digital 5.1.
Each 2-disc Blu-ray edition includes a second disc copy of the film on either DVD (standard Blu-ray) or Blu-ray (Ultra HD Blu-ray), and package a code to redeem a Digital HD copy with iTunes or UltraViolet.
The Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray editions also include a long list of bonus content (listed below), including several featurettes such as “They Closed Down A Freeway,” “John Legend’s Acting Debut” and “The Music of LA LA LAND.”
There’s also an epilogue titled “The Romance of the Dream” and audio commentaries with writer/director Damien Chazelle and Composer Justin Hurwitz.
Currently, La La land is priced $14.99 (DVD), $19.99 (Blu-ray), and $29.99 (4k Blur-ay). The discs are available to pre-order from Amazon, Best Buy, and other retailers.
