March will be a huge month for Netflix with around a dozen new or continuing original productions releasing. Amy Schumer’s comedy event “The Leather Special” will launch on Mar. 7, the stop-motion kid’s series “Buddy Thunderstruck” will release Mar. 10, and continuing Netflix’s promise to deliver Marvel content the new series “Iron Fist” will launch on Mar. 17.
New Netflix Original Films releasing in March include “Burning Sands” (Mar. 10), “Deidra & Laney” (Mar. 17), “The Most Hated Woman in America” (Mar. 24) and highly anticipated crime drama “The Discovery” (Mar. 31).
Along with plenty of original content Netflix is also adding some blockbuster films and popular TV series to their streaming library.
Among the new movies releasing are “The BFG” (2016), “Pete’s Dragon” (2016), and Wes Anderson’s “Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” (2004) starring Bill Murray.
New TV series coming in March include Season 8 of Warner Bros.’ “The Vampire Diaries,” Season 2 of AMC’s “Better Call Saul,” and Season 3 of ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder.”
