The FXNow app for Android and iOS devices has been improved with the ability to now “binge away” with auto play. The added feature will continue with the next episode of a series or jump to a recommended movie when turned on. This feature comes with the updated app for both Android (Version 1.9.0) and iOS (Version 1.9).
The FXNow app for iOS (also available for Apple TV) has also improved search to make it faster using spotlight search for finding movies available on FXNow. And, movies can now be previewed with the addition of trailers for every film available on FXNow.
FXNow offers on-demand streaming of TV shows and movies from FX, FXX, and FXM. Popular series available to watch through the app include The Simpsons (through the Simpson’s World hub), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, American Horror Story, Archer, and The Americans.
The app is free to download on both platforms and includes Nielsen’s audience measurement software allowing users to contribute to market research such as Nielsen’s TV Ratings.
