‘Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation’ Global Trailer Released

Paramount Pictures has released the first global trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation. The two-minute, thirty-second trailer gives viewers a lot more content than yesterday’s “Fate” teaser that was released (see second YouTube video below), including an extended clip of Ethan Hunt clinging to an ascending airplane.

The plot for ‘Rogue Nation’ involves a rogue group called Syndicate that’s trained to take out the Impossible Missions Force (IMF). Ethan Hunt and his crew engage in an impossible mission to decommission the Syndicate.

The film, from Bad Robot and Skydance Productions, stars returning Mission: Impossible cast members Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames. New cast members include Oscar-nominated Alec Baldwin (The Cooler), Rebecca Ferguson (Hercules), and Sean Harris (Prometheus) among others.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation hits theaters nationwide, including IMAX 3D theaters, on July 31st, 2015.
