You can never tell enough vampire tales, and that’s why Universal Pictures/Legendary Pictures newest incarnation of Dracula may be an overused concept for a movie but the trailer presents a plot that appears pretty solid; an untold origin of Dracula. Dracula Untold stars Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6, Immortals) as Vlad Tepes — the man who becomes Dracula to save his family. In the trailer Dracula appears to have more control over bats than even Batman himself, using swarms of the nocturnal mammals to battle a human army. The film was directed by Gary Shore and produced by Michael De Luca. Co-stars include Sarah Gadon (Enemy), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger), and Diarmaid Murtagh (The Monuments Men). Dracula Untold is slated to hit theaters in the U.S., including IMAX theaters, on October 17, 2014.
