If you’re paying for a slimmed down channel package from DIRECTV you might take advantage of this week’s free preview of the XTRA service pack. The free preview runs from May 27 through June 2 and includes over 205 channels to choose from. If you’re subscribing to the lower tier Entertainment or Choice packages, several HD channels you probably don’t have but can now enjoy include bioHD (), CBSSNHD (CBS Sports Network), DESTHD (Destination America), DIYHD (Do it Yourself Network), FBNHD (Fox Business), FSCHD (Fox Soccer), and NBAHD (NBA TV).
DIRECTV’s XTRA is their most popular service channel package that includes 250+ channels and typically costs $70.99 per month. Check out the free preview before it ends on Sunday, June 2.
