USA vs. Canada World Baseball Classic breaks MLB Network history

The World Baseball Classic Round 1 elimination game between the USA and Canada last Sunday became the most-watched non-Postseason game in MLB Network history. Peaking at 1.25 million viewers in the final innings, the game was highlighted by a 4-run rally by the US in the ninth inning to win 9-4.

The World Baseball Classic games have averaged 252,000 viewers from Friday, Mar. 8 through Sunday, Mar. 10 (according to Nielsen ratings).

Round 2 of the World Baseball Classic began today with Japan vs. Netherlands at 6:00 a.m. ET, Italy vs. Dominican Republic at 1:00 p.m. ET, and USA vs. Puerto Rico at 8:00 p.m. ET. For a full schedule of games, visit The World Baseball Classic website.
