Cinemax changing @MAX to Spanish-language MAX Latino

The premium network also changing programming focus of WMAX.

Starting June 1, 2013 Cinemax will be making changes to the @MAX and WMAC channels. The most impactful change is @MAX channel will become Spanish language channel MAX Latino, broadcasting the hit movies and original series found on the network’s flagship English-language channel Cinemax.

Right next door to @MAX on most channel guides, Cinemax’s WMAX will change to MovieMAX — a family-oriented network. The channel will remove any R-rated films and focus more on current and classic hit movies. Those changes will also happen on June 1.

@MAX and WMAX can be found on DIRECTV, DISH Network, Verizon FiOS TV, AT&T U-verse, as well as select cable TV providers. Check your local listings for channel location.
