Yesterday we brought to your attention to the discounted digital copy of Aliens for just $4.99. Now, FOX and Apple are offering Alien 3 (1992) for the same price. And, the digital purchase from iTunes includes both the 1992 theatrical version of the film and the 2003 Special Edition. [Note: The deal expired. But as expected iTunes is selling Alien Resurrection (1997) all day Tuesday, April 24.
In addition, there are over 4 hours of extras including audio commentary from cast and crew, an 5.1 isolated score, over 30 extended and deleted scenes, and more. To compare, both Amazon and Google Play sell Alien 3 for $14.99 in Digital HD.
The iTunes Digital HD version of Alien 3 can be streamed in either 720p or 1080p resolution. Users can also download the 1080p / 4.66GB version (recommended for larger screens) or the 480p 1.98 GB version for smaller screen devices to iTunes.
Although this is a special price from 20th Century Fox and Apple, you don’t have to be an Apple device owner to take advantage. As we mentioned before, iTunes is supported on both Windows PCs just as well as on Apple OSX and iOS devices. And, the digital purchase from iTunes gets transferred to other movie services like Google Play and iTunes.
