Movies Anywhere is a Disney-led digital movie locker that links several services to one place, making it easier to view one’s digital library through one specific service rather than scattered about. As of publishing, the platform is supported by major studios including 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Universal, Disney and Warner Bros. Movies Anywhere Supported Devices & Requirements
- iOS: Available on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices running iOS 9 or higher. Offline viewing (downloading of movies) is only supported on iOS 10.2 and higher.
- Apple TV/AirPlay: Available on Apple TV 4th generation or later. Also available on older generations of the Apple TV using AirPlay Mirroring on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Amazon devices: Movies Anywhere is supported on Fire Tablet devices running FireOS 5 or later, including HD 7 (4th Gen.) and for playback only on 1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.
- Android: Supported on Android devices running KitKat (4.4) or later versions of the Android OS. Also supported on the Android TV and connected TVs running the Android TV Operating system.
- Chromecast: Movies Anywhere content is available to stream on Chromecast via Chrome Browser on the PC, and Android or iOS devices via the Movies Anywhere App.
- NVidia Shield TV: Available for NVidia Shield TV running Android OS 5.1 or later and Google Play services 7.3 or later.

- iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU and Google Play: All Movies Anywhere-eligible movies will also appear in your connected iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU and Google Play accounts, subject to availability with each Digital Retailer, and can be played directly on any platforms that support video playback for these providers.
