Star Trek Reboot (Kelvin Timeline)
J. J. Abrams directed the first reboot franchise film Star Trek (2009) which was developed by executive producer Rick Berman and screenwriter Erik Jendresen. Abrams went on to direct the second in the series “Star Trek Into Darkness” and Justin Lin directed Star Trek Beyond (2016). A fourth film currently named Star Trek 4, is being developed.
