Max launches in the US on May 23, 2023. The rebrand from HBO Max and new streaming platform owned by Warner Bros. Discovery combines content from HBO, Max, and Discovery+ which includes HGTV, Food Network, Discovery Channel, Magnolia Network, TLC, and ID.

You also need a 4k, 4k HDR, or 8k TV screen or monitor to watch shows in 4k UHD. If you’re TV is HDR-capable, it will play Dolby Vision or HDR10 depending on the TV brand and HDR specs supported.
