Does the Peacock streaming service offer Dolby Atmos audio? Yes, it does!
The streaming service Peacock added 4k UHD content in the summer of 2022 and select titles do offer Dolby Atmos audio. Dolby Atmos is an object-based audio format that can deliver immersive, multi-channel audio including overhead effects.
However, very few titles offer Atmos. The majority of content on Peacock is provided with Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Read: How to Get Dolby Atmos Sound To Work
Peacock also offers titles in High Dynamic Range via either Dolby Vision or HDR10. Dolby Vision is a propriety HDR format that can change dynamically from scene to scene during playback. HDR10 is an open-source format that loads upon the startup of a video stream but does not change.
