What can you do if a Blu-ray Disc, 4k Blu-ray Disc, or DVD does not work correctly?
It’s not all that uncommon for a Blu-ray Disc, 4k Blu-ray Disc, or DVD to not work properly. Sometimes an audio track may not work correctly (eg. dropouts, format not working) or a disc may be scratched upon packaging or shipping. There are also times when a disc was just not manufactured correctly (missing HDR spec or wrong disc format) or when a disc is completely missing!
Will companies replace damaged or wrong discs?
Luckily, most manufacturers will issue replacement discs for wrongly manufactured, missing, or damaged discs. You will typically need to prove you purchased the disc by sending the distributor a copy of the original receipt (email receipts usually work), a photo of the product, or both.
What are the contact numbers to replace discs?
Here’s a list of Blu-ray Disc, 4k Blu-ray Disc, and DVD distributors such as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Warner Bros., Disney, Lionsgate, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
