According to The Houston Chronicle, BBC America (Ch. 730), Big Ten Network (Ch. 707), Galavision (Ch. 650), Nat Geo Wild (Ch. 687), Outdoor Channel (Ch. 708), Oxygen (Ch. 718), and PBS Kids Sprout (Ch. 740), are now part of the high-definition lineup.

For the July 4th weekend Dish Network will offer five movies for 99 cents each via their DISH Cinema channel. The movies are no slouches either. The lineup includes the 2011 films “Sucker Punch,” “Battle: Los Angeles,” “Hall Pass,” and “Just Go With It,” as well as last year’s 10-time Oscar nominated film “True Grit.”

Suddenlink going mobile with ’2GO’ service

52 HD channels added to Comcast, Santa Barbara

As part of their ‘Project Cavlary’ expansion, Comcast is adding 119 new networks including 52 high-definition (HD) channels in the Santa Barbara County area. Those communities include Ballard, Buellton, Lompoc, Los Olivos, Orcutt, Santa Maria, Santa Ynez, Solvang and Vandenberg Village. The rest of the new networks are made up of 29 premium international networks, 21 hispanic channels, and 17 standard-definition channels.
