Apple today announced “updated” pricing on 13-inch MacBook Pro models with 128GB or 256GB flash storage. The new prices start at $1,499 for the 13″ Retina display with 2.5Ghz processor and 128GB flash storage, and $1,699 for the 13″ with new 2.6Ghz processor and 256GB flash storage. Sony is now shipping a thin design laptop made of aluminum and carbon fiber chassis that weighs just 2.5-pounds. The VAIO Z Series portable computer comes with either the Intel Core i5-2410M , i5-2540M, or i7-2620M processor, with 13.1″ LED backlit display in 1920×1080 or 1600×900 resolutions (add an extra $100 for the 1080p display). Sony boasts the laptop will run for 8 hours on stock battery or up to 16 hours with an optional large-capacity sheet battery. Read More
