Tired of waiting two years to upgrade your phone with a new service contract? Starting July 26, AT&T is launching AT&T Next, a service option that lets you upgrade your smartphone every 12 months. The new option will let you pay for your phone every month, rather than make a one time payment when you sign a new contract or purchase the phone outright. AT&T says the monthly payments will range between $15 and $50 per month depending on the phone model. If you choose to keep the phone after a year, you’ll be able to continue to make payments on it for 8 months until it’s paid in full. The three Disney channels include WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney XD, and WATCH Disney Junior — all of which are available through their corresponding websites or via free downloadable apps. Here’s some good news for U-verse customers. AT&T and Disney have renewed a multi-year/multi-platform distribution deal that adds channels such as ESPN 3D & Disney Junior to the U-verse lineup. Subscribers will also get access to “WATCH” content such as Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and WatchESPN. WATCH ABC and WATCH ABC Family services will also be included upon launch, as well as the upcoming 24/7 joint venture between ABC News and Univision focused upon bilingual Hispanic viewers. Sony Movie Channel launched two years ago on Oct. 1, 2010. However, as of now only three US service providers carry the channel: AT&T U-verse, DIRECTV, and DISH.
