In July, there is no doubt Netflix’s premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on July 18th will be the most watched movie. Although the film released to Blu-ray and Digital HD a couple months ago, approximately 100 million Netflix subscribers will have access to stream ‘Rogue One’ at their convenience on a variety of devices. But what about other new movies?
Movies
On Saturday, July 1st, DreamWorks’ animated hit Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa premieres on Netflix starring Ben Stiller and Chris Rock. On Sunday, July 9th the six-time Oscar-nominated film Lion will be available. And, on Friday, July 14th the Netflix Original drama To The Bone starring Keanu Reeves and Lily Collins premieres.
TV Shows/Series
There are quite a new series coming to Netflix in July along with returning seasons of existing shows. New series include Netflix’s The Standups on July 4th, Castlevania on July 7th, Friends From College on July 14th, and the drama Ozark starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.
Among the returning series is Season 4 of The CW’s The Originals, Season 3 of Warner Bros.’ iZombie, Season 4 of the Canadian series Degrassi: Next Class, Season 4 of West Coast Customs, and Season 7 of ABC’s Pretty Little Liars.
