Warner Bros.’ tale of the miracle on the Hudson has been released to several disc formats including Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, and DVD. Sully, starring Tom Hanks as Captain Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger, was already released to Digital HD but can now be purchased in multi-format disc editions or rented On Demand.
All three disc editions include the bonus featurettes “The Man Behind the Miracle,” “Moment by Moment: Averting Disaster on the Hudson,” and “Neck Deep in the Hudson: Shooting Sully.” The Blu-ray combo editions also include a Digital HD copy redeemable with UltraViolet partners.
On Blu-ray, Sully is formatted in 1080p at 2.4:1 aspect ratio with audio available in Dolby Atmos and English Descriptive Audio 5.1. On Ultra HD Blu-ray, the film has 4-times the resolution at 2160p as well as HDR (High Dynamic Range) color for systems that support it. The 4k edition also features Dolby Atmos and English Descriptive Audio 5.1.
