GoPro Hero4 Black update will shoot slow motion at 240fps in 720p

20150108-130628-47188936.jpgThose of you looking to shoot even slower motion video on your Hero4 Black camera will soon be able to do so with a software update, GoPro announced at CES Las Vegas. The max frame rate at 720p was previously 120fps, but with the software update you’ll be able to capture 240fps. The update, coming in the next few months, will really enhance slow motion recording of action sports such as surfing, skateboarding, and the like. GoPro is also showcasing its max 4k/30p resolution recorded on the Hero4 Black (that can also shoot at 25fps and 24fps). Also coming with the update the Hero4 Black will shoot in 2.7k at 60fps. Those updates are only for the Hero4 Black, not the Silver.
