‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ Blu-ray, DVD & Digital release dates announced

the-wolf-of-wallstreet-blu-ray-600pxOscar-nominated film The Wolf of Wall Street starring Leonardo DiCaprio will release first to Digital HD on Mar. 18, and one week later to Blu-ray and DVD on Mar. 25, 2014. The 2-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack from Paramount Home Media includes Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD copy via UltraViolet. The Blu-ray edition will also include a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film in a bonus titled “The Wolf Pack,” that features interviews with Director Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jonah Hill.

The The Wolf of Wall Street Blu-ray is formatted in 1080p HD resolution at 2.39:1 widescreen aspect ratio, with sound options in English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital. The included DVD (also available as a single-disc edition) is formatted in standard resolution 16:9 aspect ratio with sound track available in the same language formats mentioned above.

The film has been nominated for five Oscars including Best Picture, Best Director (Martin Scorsese), and Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio). We’ll find out if the film takes home any Oscars this Sunday at the 86th Oscars awards ceremony on ABC.
