VUDU app released for Android Phones

Being that yesterday was Independence Day in the U.S., Android users may not have noticed the long awaited app for VUDU was uploaded to the Google Play Store. The VUDU Movies and TV app lets you stream or download titles to Android tablets and phones, as well as access your UltraViolet collection. Unfortunately the app will only work on select Android devices at this time, such as Motorola RZR HD, Nexus 4, and Samsung Galaxy Note models (see the full list of supported devices below). The free 12MB app (Version 1.4.229) requires Android OS Version 4.0 or higher.

VUDU supported Android devices:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note, Note II, S IV, S III, S II HD
  • Nexus 4
  • HTC One, EVO 4G LTE, Droid DNA
  • LG Optimus G, G Pro, F7
  • Motorola RAZR HD
