Amazon integrates X-Ray into TV Shows

Last September, Amazon launched X-Ray for the Kindle Fire HD adding the ability to access information about movies with just a tap. Today the company announced a lineup of popular TV shows such as Game of Thrones, Justified, and The Walking Dead will also integrate X-Ray technology. X-Ray pulls movie and TV data from Amazon-owned IMDb (Internet Movie Database) including cast member bios and filmographies. When you tap on the video, a small window displays info about the characters in a particular scene. That window can be expanded to display additional information. Amazon says more TV shows, including many from the  Amazon Instant Video library, will incorporate the technology in the future. If you own a Wii U, X-Ray for TV shows is now part of the free Amazon Instant Video app.
