New titles on Blu-ray, 3D, & UltraViolet this week

Hotel-Transylvania-Blu-ray-400pxThis week Season 3 of Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey hits shelves on Blu-ray Disc. This is the original UK version of the series from PBS that includes all episodes on three discs along with over two hours of bonus video. On the other side of the spectrum, the animated film Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 starring Peter Weller is now available on Blu-ray. The Combo Pack from Warner Bros. includes Blu-ray, DVD, and UltraViolet digital copy. There’s also a digital excerpt from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Falls that’s exclusive to the Blu-ray edition. Another popular animated title this week is Hotel Transylvania starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Selena Gomez. The Blu-ray combo pack from Sony Pictures (also available in a Blu-ray 3D edition) includes a DVD and UltraViolet digital copy. Check out or picks of the week below.
