Toshiba 2nd Gen Ultra HD TVs on view at CES

Toshiba is displaying several of their second generation Ultra HD TVs at CES this week. The new L9300 series are powered by Toshiba’s CEVO 4K Quad+Dual Core Processor and support 3D as well as advanced Cloud TV functionality. Toshiba’s Quad HD TVs also include Resolution Restoration (for scaling non-4k content), Color Gamut Enhancement, and Surface Brilliance Enhancement for color and image intensity. Additional image enhancement technologies include ClearScan 240Hz and CQ Engine controls. And, Toshiba says apps are in development for iOS, Android and Windows 8 that will support interaction between mobile devices and the Cloud TV services The Toshiba L9300 Series UltraHD TVs will start shipping next summer in 58-inch, 65-inch, and 84-inch class sizes.
