Amazon offering up bevy of early Black Friday Blu-ray deals

If you’re a glass half-empty kinda guy like I am, you’re waiting, just waiting for the day when Amazon does something that really irks you. Well, that day isn’t coming this week. The online retail giant has begun warming the collective cockles of our high-def loving hearts by offering up price-slashing deals on a number of Blu-rays and boxed sets, days before the madness of Black Friday truly sets in. ::genuflects::  Thank you. Here are just some of the deals happening right now at Amazon.

• Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection – $149.99 (previously $164 was the best price we had seen for this new set)
• Prometheus 3D – $14.99 (70% off suggested list price)
• Bond 50  - $129.99 ($149.99 had been the lowest price until now)
• Caddyshack – $3.99 (This one’s usually cheap anyway, but you can’t do better than 400 pennies)
• There Will Be Blood – $7.88 (In the mood for more Day-Lewis after Lincoln?)
