If you want to view a dedicated channel for Hurricane Sandy updates DIRECTV has launched a the 24/7 “Hurricane Sandy Information” channel. Beginning this morning, the channel provides live broadcasts from local stations in the areas affected by the storm. Those areas include New York, N.Y., Washington, DC., Philadelphia, PA., Baltimore, MD., and Norfolk, VA. Content on the channel will also include American Red Cross information, graphical information including closures, cancellations, etc, as well as local news. Customers can find the channel on DIRECTV 325 and 349.
