Time Warner Cable/Bright House to carry RLTV network

Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks will soon carry Redefine Life TV (RLTV), a channel that delivers original content related to healthcare, finance, travel, and lifestyle. The network is currently available in 15 million homes, but the Time Warner/Bright House deal could bring that number up to 25 million when launched this December. RLTV’s call letters originally stood for “Retirement Living,” but the network changed it to “Redefine Life” in an attempt to attract more viewers (not just retirees, or wanna-be retirees for that matter). “Stanley on the Go,” “Danger Zone,” and “Healthline” are a few of the shows RLTV broadcasts. Does this mean another HD channel in the lineup? Unfortunately, from what we can gather RLTV is only broadcast in 480i standard resolution.  The network was launched in launched in 2006 by John C. Erickson, CEO and Chairman of Erickson Retirement Communities.
