First ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2′ trailer released

Here it is, the first look at what will be <spoiler alert> the biggest selling game of the year when it releases 11-13-12. The reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 shows Sgt. Frank Woods from the previous game now as a weathered old coot in 2025, bemoaning the fact that technology keeps trying to trump man’s fighting spirit. Anyone else getting some very heavy Metal Gear Solid 4 vibes from this? The two-minute video shows robots, drones and aircraft raining down hellfire on Los Angeles, along with some quick shots of heavily-armored soldiers and desert chase scenes on horseback. So, is taking this 800-lb gorilla of a franchise in this direction a smart move? Or should Activision and Treyarch leave the future to Marty McFly?
