Starz movies removed from Netflix

Hope you got your fill of Starz movies in yesterday because today those movies are no longer available. We knew the day was coming for about a year now, so the loss of all those streaming movie titles doesn't come as a surprise.

Indiana Jones collection to make Blu-ray debut this fall

The story of Indiana Jones' adventures may not be complete, but that's not stopping Paramount from readying the “The Complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection” for release this fall. Only the much maligned Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is currently available in Blu-ray form, so this will be the first time that the other three films will be on disc in high def. Amazon's pre-order price is $74.99. No official date or box/cover art is available yet.

Kindle owners can borrow from 100,000 book titles

Amazon says there are now over 100,000 books to borrow for free on the Kindle, as long as you have a current Prime membership.

Verizon FiOS TV launches Spanish-language channel Cine Estelar

Verizon has launched the Spanish-language channel "Cine Estelar" as part of the FiOS TV lineup. The channel is set up alongside the recently launched Cine Nostalgia, adding more Spanish-language films for Verizon customers.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning first DLC announced

Electronic Arts has announced the first DLC for 38 Studios' Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The downloadable content is titled The Legend of Dead Kel and will hit servers on March 20, 2012.

HBO Go set for April 1st Xbox Live debut

The Xbox 360 is about add another round to its bullet list of features. HBO Go, HBO's streaming video service, is expected to be up and running on April 1. Should we read anything into the April Fools Day timing? Probably not. Of course, you could say the fact that you'll need a cable TV subscription (and a provider that plays nice), HBO subscription, and Xbox Live gold subscription is a prank in and of itself, but so be it. HBO co-president Eric Kessler says the app will allow users to access movies, special features and every episode of nearly every HBO series.

Hugo now available on Blu-ray 3D, DVD, On Demand and Digital Download

It's the perfect time for Martin Scorsese's Hugo to release on Blu-ray Disc and DVD, after the movie won 5 Academy Awards last Sunday night. The film's Oscars include Best Achievement in Visual Arts and Sound Editing, as well as nominations for Best Motion Picture and Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay.

Amazon closeout pricing on last year’s 65″ HDTVs

Amazon is offering closeout pricing on select 60" and 65" HDTVs from last year. These aren't no-name brands either, with models from Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony in the bin.
