The much acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones is headed for Blu-ray Disc and DVD on March 6, 2012 -- a month before Season 2 starts in April. The 5-disc sets (both BD and DVD) will contain all 10 episodes of Season 1, along with plenty of extras such as character profiles, interviews, production featurettes, and never-before-scene footage.

NBC Universal has announced the release Friday Night Lights Seasons 1-5 repackaged DVD set on March 6, 2012. But the announcement comes as a disappointment for Blu-ray player owners who have put their DVD collections on the curb.
