Titanic: Lost in the Darkness shows doomed ship’s beauty

Prepare for more Celine Dion. Yes, with next year marking the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, everything 1997 will be back in style again, from that song to the actual film, this time in 3D from James Cameron. But here’s something new and tasty: Titanic: Lost in the Darkness is a project that ORM Entertainment has been working on for a few years now, first starting out as a mod for the original Crysis game, and now taking full, and we mean full advantage of the powerhouse game engine. This 6-minute video features a walk around the ship, showing off some truly beautiful rendering of the doomed ship, with near photo-realistic graphics. Will the game be finished in time for next year’s Titanicpalooza? Only time will tell. In the meantime, our coverage will go on.
