Several retailers will host Midnight release parties for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, release date November 8, 2011. Most Best Buy stores will open at 12:01 am to sell the game -- here's a link to find a Best Buy location nearest you. Gamestop is opening earlier at 9:00pm if you want to pre-order (to avoid lines) or trade-in other games -- you can find a Gamestop location closest to you.

At a press conference in London producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli announced the next James Bond film, number 23 in the franchise, will be called "Skyfall." Sam Mendes will direct the film which will be shot in locations such as China, Shanghai, Istanbul, and Scotland.

At $249, Barnes & Noble's Nook Tablet is $50 more than Amazon's upcoming Kindle Fire, and it doesn't support access to the Android Market....

Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week is the Clint Eastwood trilogy "The Man with No Name." The trilogy packs three classic Eastwood films including A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965), and The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly (1966). Along with the films, extra supplements include audio commentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes, radio spots and trailers.
