Wii and Nintendo 3DS to get Hulu Plus

Nintendo has announced Hulu Plus will be available for Wii consoles and the mobile 3DS by the end of the year. With Hulu Plus, users will be able to stream movies and TV shows from the Hulu library for $7.99 per month. A few titles queued up on Hulu Plus include Glee, Dancing with the Stars, and Lost all of which will stream with limited advertising. (Lame, considering the subscription fee, but what can you do?) Nintendo also announced updates for the 3DS including the ability to record 3D videos up to 10-minutes long, create 3D stop-motion animations, new puzzles in the StreetPass Mii Plaza, and a new dungeon to Find Mii.

Hulu was recently taken off the auction block, as the company’s joint owners decided they would continue to run the company instead of selling it. Talks with Dish Network, Yahoo, Amazon and others failed to reach any acceptable offers.
