In yet another carriage dispute that really does nothing for TV viewers except piss them off, DirecTV is threatening to pull the plug on Fox channels citing demands from Fox for 40% more in subscription fees.

Nintendo has announced Hulu Plus will be available for Wii consoles and the mobile 3DS by the end of the year. With Hulu Plus, users will be able to stream movies and TV shows from the Hulu library for $7.99 per month. A few titles queued up on Hulu Plus include Glee, Dancing with the Stars, and Lost all of which will stream with limited advertising.

If you've got an iPad you might want to check out the new interactive 3D map application from Weather Channel. The free app gives you weather-triggered background images (which are animated in 3D on iPad 2 models), a screen with forecasts from 10-days all the way down to 15-minute increments, a 3D spinning globe, news mashup, social networking integration, and video clips in HD quality.
