Best Buy's CinemaNow online movie service is adding several hundred movies in 1080p HD to their streaming library. The hi-def additions include movies from 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. which will contribute to CinemaNow's 15,000+ title library.

Closing in on 10 years of covering soccer in the US, Panasonic has announced a three year sponsorship deal with Major League Soccer (MLS) and U.S. Soccer. Panasonic's coverage includes high-definition television broadcasts including 3D simulcasts, as well as providing displays and equipment within a number of soccer stadiums.

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings may have rabbit ears. Netflix has now cancelled its plans to spin off its DVD home delivery service from its online streaming service--plans that were just announced last month.
