Disney will release The Lion King in 3D this fall, both in theaters and on Blu-ray Disc. The 2-time Oscar winning film (Best Original Score & Best Original Song) will get a two-week run in 3D theaters starting on September 16, followed by the release of several Blu-ray Disc editions on October 4, 2011.
