Time Warner Cable is now offering 175 HD channels in the New York City area, that according to the company and Broadcasting & Cable who broke the news yesterday. New TWC hi-def channels include Bloomberg HD, ESPN Deportes HD, FEARnet HD, Fox Deportes HD, GMC HD, Lifetime HD, Oprah Winfrey Network HD, Oxygen HD, and WGN America HD.
More high-definition On Demand channels were also added including Cinemax HD On Demand, FEARnet HD On Demand, HBO HD On Demand, and Showtime HD On Demand with more coming soon, according to the company.
TWC also added over new international channel packages which give subscribers savings up to 65% off current channel pricing. Over 50 international channels are available with Time Warner’s digital TV service.
